Place management, placemaking and activation of a world class first cultural precinct inside Australia’s number one ranked University in the heart of the nation.
Wiltshire + Dimas are engaged by the Australian National University for the place management and cultural programming of its newly launched and world first cultural precinct Kambri at ANU. The precinct offers a new educational, physical, creative and social experience in a village setting. As place managers, Wiltshire + Dimas are responsible for the management of some of the new buildings which are part of the 41,000 square meters of the total building area, 44,000 of public realm area and the performance of 45 retail and services and carpark operator. As placemakers and cultural programmers, Wiltshire + Dimas are responsible for the activation of the precinct’s Cultural Centre and Public Realm.
In addition, Wiltshire + Dimas provide a full suite of Communications agency services to the precinct from public relations, social media, marketing and promotion to creative design, online, digital development and management, copywriting, photography and video production.
During the pre-launch phase, Wiltshire + Dimas developed and delivered the Business and Operations Strategy and Plan, the Public Art Plan and the Placemaking and Activations Strategy of the precinct. In 2019 aMBUSH – Wiltshire + Dimas’ social enterprise opened its second physical gallery in the precinct and in July 2020 its second outdoor public gallery called Exhibition Avenue.
